There are still 3 or 4 weeks of the summer holidays left for most of England and Wales and tons going on in Derbyshire and the Peak District.
This weekend, 12th and 13th August, brings the Bakewell Baking Festival with famous names like Sophie Grigson, GBBOs John Whaite, Edd Kimber and Howard Middleton. The event promises baking, vintage, music and family fun in the lovely market town of Bakewell.
On Saturday the 38th Manifold Valley Agricultural Show will be held at Casterne Hall, Ilam.
