Do I need to be a professional artist?

Not at all. We're inviting both amateur and professional artists to join the Month of Art!

Do I have to come on a specific day?

Accepted Answer

No, you can come whenever you want to during our opening hours and days. This is Thursday - Sunday from 10.00 - 4.00 pm every week in July.

You can take your artwork away with you to finish elsewhere, or you can return to the gardens to carry on or complete it.

Do I have to pay?

No, the gardens are free to all artists. However, all artists must fill out a registration form.(https://www.hoptonhall.co.uk/artist-registration-form)

Tell me more about the competition

Accepted Answer

To enter, simply drop your artwork to Hopton Hall at any point during the month of July.

All entries will be put on display on the last weekend of the month (26th and 27th July). There will be an open vote for the winning artwork.

You do not have to enter the competition. You can come along to enjoy the gardens and create your artwork for your own enjoyment.
