A Summer celebration of local art
Each July, coinciding with the opening of the Walled Garden), 2D and 3D artists are offered free access to the extensive grounds and gardens of the Hopton Hall Estate where they can create an artwork taking inspiration from their surrounds.
If they wish, they can submit their finished work into the Month of Art competition. Artists are also invited to display and sell their artwork during the event and can book a complimentary gazebo.
The artist with the winning artwork (selected from votes cast by visitors to the Walled Garden during the final weekend of July) is awarded a prize of £1,000, with their artwork put on display at one of Hopton Hall’s venues.
