The Month of Art at Hopton Hall
Information For Artists
Come along to Hopton Hall during the Month of Art to create artwork inspired by an external aspect of the Hall or gardens and for the chance of winning £1,000.
Open Thursday – Sunday until Sunday, 26th July.
Registering as an artist
Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1: Complete the Artist Registration Form.

Step 2: Sign up for an Artist Monthly Pass (come as many times as you want during the event).

Step 3 (optional): Book a complimentary custom-made gazebo where you can create, display and sell your artwork, and run workshops. Allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Detailed information on joining the event and entering the competition will be emailed to you once you have registered.
Entering your artwork for the Month of Art competition
All artwork submitted into the Month of Art competition will be exhibited on the ground floor of Hopton Hall during the final weekend and included on the Month of Art page of the Hopton Hall Gallery website.
The winner is decided by a public vote which takes place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July, with the presentation of prizes made at 3pm on Sunday, 26th July 2026. 2nd and 3rd prizes of £250 and £100 respectively will be in the form of vouchers for Turners Art Supplies.

Thursday – Sunday from Thursday, 2nd July to Sunday, 26th July 2026: 10:30 until 16:00 (Last admittance 15:00).
Entering Your Artwork
Deadline for submitting your artwork
All entries must be delivered to the Hopton Hall Gallery Director at the Information Gazebo no later than 4pm on Wednesday 22nd July.
The following information must be clearly written and securely attached to the reverse of every artwork.

Important: Hopton Hall uses an art management system that requires accurate information for every artwork. Failure to provide all required details may result in the artwork not being exhibited and/or not being included on the Hopton Hall Gallery website.
Please check that all information is complete and legible before submitting your entry.
Voting for the Month of Art winner
The winner is decided by a public vote. All artworks will be judged within a single category, with visitors voting for their favourite pieces on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th (10:30am - 4pm) and up until 2pm on Sunday, 26th July. 1st prize: £1,000. 2nd and 3rd prizes of £250 and £100 respectively are in the form of vouchers for Turners Art Supplies.
The winner will be announced at 3pm on Sunday, 26th July on the South Lawn.
