Something a little different… a circular factory building (built on the site of an old gas container!) where David Mellor make their distinctive cutlery and tableware. You can book factory tours to see how it’s done. Beside this is a sleek glass fronted café and the industrial design museum and shop. You’ll feel like you have just arrived in Denmark or Sweden! Combine this with a visit to Ladybower reservoir, Mam Tor or take a dip in the Lido at Hathersage. The Hathersage Social Club is also a great dining option. TIP: Try and avoid Castleton as it gets filled with coach tours!
