Situated down a narrow street in historic Wirksworth, the pub is a stone-built locals' establishment with plenty of atmosphere. It boasts an open fire and offers up to five real ales. It should be noted that this pub opens at 8 pm, and Sunday is the only time they serve during lunch hours. While they do not serve full meals, patrons can usually find good cobs available.
