The Red Lion at Kniveton is an 18th century village pub.
It prides itself on offering a range of full juice cider, real ale and craft beer from local producers.
It is run by Hannah Barton and Kevin Woolley of the Kniveton Cider Company (offering ‘proper cider made in the Derbyshire Dales’) and was crowned the CAMRA Ashbourne Pub of the Year 2024 and East Midlands Cider Pub of the Year 2023 & 2024.
The Grade II listed building sits on the B5035 between Ashbourne and Carsington.
